Yes, you can fill it with lights. The carapace is hollow, with enough room for a small circuit board and a 9V battery. LEDs in the head would be simple to do, but probably limit head movement. For a the gun arm, it would either require exposed wires or a lot of effort hollowing out arms.

You could potentially even run some led's off of a watch battery fitted inside the gun arm if you don't want to run wires but it would take quite a bit of work.

I got 40k withdrawal the other day when comics didn't have the thunder fire I went in looking for, somehow I ended up leaving with a knight instead. It really is a great model, although it took the best part of 5hrs to assemble, I was removing mold lines as I went though.

I've pretty much got mine painted to table top standard now so as soon as natcon is over with I'd be keen to try it out against anyone that's willing. I still don't think they are going to be that strong an option although with a team of tech marines on bikes to repair lost hull points that might be an under estimation. I've also heard nasty things like power field generators from the Dark Angel codex combo well.

Has anyone actually got a copy of the codex? Is it worth the cost?

Wes - I thought the D close combat weapon only did the additional wounds to multi wound models not to addition models in the unit, I don't play apocalypse so don't have the rules but that was my understanding?

Hmm Lancer looks too big to me, almost warhound size, though the model itself is nice.

See here for some size comparison pics of the various monstrous/titan sized beasties:

I think its more like an Eldar Knight, not as bulky as a warhound but maybe taller
