Heads up re entry details and they should be up later tonight or Monday on the OMTS website. If you can enter early all good as need to arrange prize support from overseas sponsers and should prove very very good.

Incredible news for the Impetus entrants as Lorenzo Sartori himself has agreed to provide a Extra Impetus supplement of your choice as a prize. It will be the first official Impetus tournament in NZ and will added into the world league calender.
(Thanks Craig C for the idea).
Put the word out this is historic folks :D

Hey Craig

Do you want army lists emailed to you before the comp or are you trusting us to rock up with legal lists?

If you do want them emailed, what address?

Good thing I'm not bringing samurai then. Those Romans are important to my army balance! :)

I'll get my list to you over the weekend.

Good news guys and War and Peace Games have given us $100 in vouchers for their webstore
http://www.warandpeacegames.com.au/default.asp
Looks like those that take part in the Impetus comp will be well rewarded for their efforts at Southcon. At this stage the winner will recieve the Impetus supplement from Lorenzo. There will be a best army award (painting, modelling and theme) as well. I understand we have 6 entrants now so we are all go. Do encourage others to join in what will be a great couple of days.

Hi Craig,

We have been having a few practice games up here and we have a request :D

Could we request that the re-rolls be allowed, as at 300 points a couple of bad cohesion roll's at the start of the game can have a huge impact on the rest of the game.

Not too bothered but some lists are already in and they haven't the option of taking re-rolls. Is it really a big problem? Can you give an example?
Practise games... who has time for practise games...

In my game today versus The evil Tibby and his legions my first 3 cohesion tests were 6's. This spike in the probability curve rendered 3 entire units of Ashigaru non effective from their first hit taken. If I had 1 or 2 re-rolls that would of helped instead of feeling like I was playing the rest of the game 77pts short.
