Ork codex is pretty good, we only lost a couple of units and fearless off our units but there are ways around that
The space wolf codex was good too

Nah, power armour is too easy. come play an army that dies whenever someone 3 tables over sneezes. that's where it's at

Good call on that Tau markerlight change! I used my Riptides AOE blast thing against Jeff and it ignoring all the Jink saves just because one vehicle had marker light tokens was too powerful. Although with my rolls that game Jeff was out of luck anyway :D.

missions are out of 10 pts
4pts of that is primary, and will always be an "old fashioned"/Eternal War book mission
3pts of that is secondary, and will always be a "new school"/Maelstrom book mission. We will use the deployment type that goes with this mission
1pt of that is First Blood
1pt of that is Slay the Warlord
1pt of that is Linebreaker

Just checking my understanding:

Whoever wins the primary mission gets 4points - even if they actually achieved less or more (say, winning the primary mission but with only 3VPs would still net 4)?
Whoever wins the secondary mission gets 3points - even if they actually achieved less or more (say, winning the tactical objectives 1Vp to 0Vps still nets 3 points)?
The other three are achieved normally - and both players could potentially get all 3 (perhaps some crazy scattering of a template killing a unit from both armies for dual first-blood?)?

What happens if the primary and secondary are drawn? Both get the points, or neither?

You are correct in that the number of points you score in the mission is not, in any way, related to your Battlepoints (tried that last year and let's say it had mixed results)

As for Draws, i'd entirely forgotten them somehow. I'll make sure there's a option on the score sheet for them; they'll each be worth 1 pt (Drawing primary = 1 pt each, Drawing secondary = 1pt each). Thanks

I'm going to flag mysterious objectives, just because i feel like there's enough going on at once with 2 missions. i worry that not everyone will remember and it's just easier, this time, to leave them out

Sweet! My fire warriors will be happy to know that no one has sabotaged any of the objectives that they'll be hunting :).

Grudge matches are always 1st up because after that, matches are arranged based on records, so you should always be playing someone who is on a similar score to you
