Nathan had arranged to run the Bolt Action tournament previously. My apologies for taking over Nathan, we all look forward to some Bolt Action fun.

Hurray a reply !!!! 28 or 25 mm is fine. Myself, Dave, you (sam), and another fellow that has already paid at Comics. Four players is enough to have three games with different opponets, so hurray its go time. I have US Army and Japan. I will bring both armies to Conquest and play one or the other to try an even out the axis versus allies. Keen to see everyone there !

Also Note Armoured Platoons WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. A lot of the players are new to Bolt so we will be keeping it simple, hence the ONE reinforced platoon rule.

Hmmmm that player that has already payed at comics maybe me (I spent 150 instore and got a free entry) so we might have only 3 of us at this stage. I have two friends that ill try and convince, although 1 is dead set on playing in the 40k tourney.

I don't have my army yet, although it's on the way, and have only played 1 game... Assuming I can get it built and painted in time I may well be interested in participating. How much is entry, and when must I enter by?

If I am able to take part, then Sam gets the credit for getting me to come along as he introduced me to BA and told me about this tourny. :)

Great News !! If you cannot have your army painted in time, I have two fully painted armies. You are welcome to use one. Entry is $40 at Comics Compulsion or if you send a certain amount of money, then entry is free. Be sure to tell Comics what system you have entered in ...for example Bolt Action. Also Sam can you plzs confirm with Comics that you are in the bolt action tourney, as last time I spoke to Tim he did not have any entries yet. Dave can probably play one day but not both, so most likely I will umpire one day and play/umpire the other day to keep numbers even. Lets make this a fun event !

I went in to see what was up with my entry. And there was no problems, my name was in there and signed up for the BA Tourney.

Mate I was already a mark for the Kreig figures anyway so to me this army sounds just awesome. Thanks to a couple of sick kids Iv been up most of the night so have had plenty of time to think (read as mind race away as sleep deprivation sinks in). Got me to tinking it would depend on hard core B.A players attitudes towards things a bit left of the norm but a German army built with a Dalek theme could be cool.

Daleks as troops with human allies/slaves (think the robo men in one or both of those

dr who films starring Peter Cushing) to man Heavy weapons etc

Sounds kinda cool to me but maybe it's the exhaustion talking..........

Hello all, As Jeff has posted I have been asked by Tim to run the Bolt Action comp at Conquest this year. I was actually asked back in June but thought it was a little early to start putting the word out. Big thankyou to Jeff for getting some interest going.

So here's whats going to be happening for the Bolt Action comp
We have three confirmed players and one highly likely player, we only need four for the comp to happen, so looking good.
It will be a two day event
If we only have four players the first day will be three games, so everyone gets to play everyone, on the second day we'll do a two on two game, followed by for those that are interested and can field the forces a tank battle game. If we can't get a tank battle going it will be upto the players to decide what they want to do.
Lists are to be 800 points infantry based list from any current book.
