Sportsmanship (5pts per game): After every game each player will answer the 5 questions similar to those listed below regarding their opponent’s sportsmanship attributes throughout the game. A player's tournament points for sports are calculated by their opponent's responses to these questions.

1. Regardless of the outcome of the battle…did your opponent's behaviour detract from your enjoyment of the game?

2. Were all rules queries resolved amicably and without too much argument?

3. Did your opponent try anything "dodgy" during the game in your opinion? ("Rubber Ruler", Intentions not stated prior to doing something - moving, shooting, charging etc). Anything at all that you would say was “dodgy”?

4. In your opinion, did your opponent play the game in the right spirit? Did they maintain a sensible approach and demeanour when things were not going their way?

5. Would you play your opponent again ?

Painting (5pts per game): You will be asked to mark your opponents painting at the end of the game on the following criteria:

5. Fully painted army with something extra in it, ie conversions

4 Fully painted army.

3. At least half the models in the army are painted.

2. Under half the army is painted.

1. None of the army is painted.

Scenarios

All eight rounds will be set up and played as a battle line missions. With the following additions :

Game 1 – Battle Line

Game 2 : King of the Hill. The unit worth the most starting points, (characters not included), and not fleeing, with the majority of it’s models on the central hill at the end of the game, gains an additional 500 battle points

Game 3 : Breaking Point. General counts as 2, every other standard including BSB counts as 1. If an army is reduced to a score of 3 or less at the end of a player turn then the opposing player gains 500 additional battle points. Game then continues as normal. If at the start of the game an army already has a value of 3 or less, then the opposing player gains the 500 additional battle points.

Game 4 : Battle Line

Game 5 : Table quarters. At the end of the game the highest starting point unit (not characters), in each table quarter gains for their army an additional 150 battle points.

Game 6 : Double character points. If killed then each character counts as twice their army point value.

Early bird payments end on Jan 27th.

We need these numbers to get bar staff in the room or rooms.

Otherwise everyone will have to go to the main bar.

Spread the word, tweet, PM or smoke signals.

In addition to this, there will be a Natcon dinner on the saturday night after all gaming is done.
Its $37 for buffet style meal served at the venue. (And yes the food here is good)
PLease pay via the same method as your gaming entry, and include your name. Either a seperate or all together works fine.

Under the new points system in 1.2 / 1.3 guess we will be using 1.3. this is actually about 2200 points in the old system.

Hey mate, can we make this 1.3 because it makes sense. The ruleset is set till August and the 1.2 rules are currently not supported in the forum. I currently do not have the 1.2 rules as I, and all other 9th agers I know, have been playing 1.3 for quite a while.

This would be a great change so far out. I hope to make it down, it just depends on work. I will make the call in a fortnight once I get a feel for the environment and look at flights (and get paid, broke as a joke right now).

At the time this was announced the rules were current, but it seems that 9th age rules change more now than under GW.

The rules for the tournament will be what is current at time of when army lists are due. Saturday April 1st.
