The top west is booked for sledgehammer 28th/29th November.

Warhammer 8th ed

Sledgehammer 2015 – 3000 points. WarHammer Fantasy

Christchurch Woolston Club – upstairs west room
Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November
I want the event to be as inclusive as possible.

Armies do not have to be painted. Army comp by Umpires opinion per army list.
Non GW models are encouraged, as long as they clearly represent what the model is.
No special Characters.
25% for each Lords and Heros.
End time Units and army lists can be used if they do not need a special character.
Not using grand armies rules.
Limit 12 dice per magic phase.


Umpire’s Bias
Line of sight can only be made over or around another non skirmish unit for this tournament.
The rules for Fast Cav will be played as per page 68 of the main rule book. As such the ‘Malta Shuffle’, is clearly not allowed.
Hills block line of sight, ie, unlimited hieght.

Cost $20 Either paid at the Woolston Club on Sundays, or before Tournament Starts.

Kiwi Bank Details for internet payment, please make sure all payments are identified as you.

If payment is not made before the end of play on Saturday of the event, then that player will score zero battle points for the tournament.

Army lists and general questions can be sent to aliddnz@hotmail.
Army lists required no later than Monday 17th November.

All senarios will be Battle line with additional bonuses of Umpires tweaks.

Saturday 28th – Doors open 8:00am. All games 2 hours 45 minutes long
Game One starts at 8:45 -11:15
Game Two starts at 11:45 - 2:30
Game Three starts at 3:00 - 5:45

Sunday 29th Doors open 8:00am.
Game Four starts at 10:00 - 12:45
Game Five starts at 1:15 – 4:00
Results at 4:20pm

A list will be posted of all known participants to Sledgehammer 2015 on Saturday 21st morning. If you are not on this list and wish to play in Sledgehammer, then you must contact me immediately.

4000 would be cool I have never played that size in a tourney game. Only race I could run at that number would be vampires and they get worse the higher the points. Would give me an excuse to get more perry stuff for empire

4000 points sounds cool. Are you going to use normal 6x4 tables? 4000 points worth of dollies is a lot on a standard 6x4 table.

So 3000pts right. I don't want to invest more money in models and time in painting for a dying system where I won't use this points size again. And 4000pts will be too big for a 6x4 table and may drag on too long for tourney games.

Now essentially 3 weeks to Sledge hammer time, already have 2 paid, which is great.

Pratice games at CWC on Sundays. turn up for a game.
