This is my 3d-printed Burford-Kegresse MG carrier in 1/100 (15mm) scale.

Image

It was an interwar British vehicle that mounted a pair of Vickers guns on an adapted aerial Scarff mount. I don't believe any made it into service in WWII; the Kegresse track system was thoroughly obsolete by then.

It's available for sale in 1/100 (15mm) scale at http://shpws.me/MiBM , and also in 1/72 (20mm) and 1/56 (28mm) scales.

I really need to get some crew figures to populate some of these models.

Nice. Curious how did you learn to do the CAD?

I downloaded Blender and started playing with it and watching tutorials on Youtube. I've barely scratched the surface of what it can do, but since I'm not that interested in animation or rendering realistic still scenes, a lot of what it can do is irrelevant to me.

There are other modeling apps that would make certain things a lot easier (like the compound curves of aircraft, for example) but they're too pricy for my sadly deflated wallet. Blender has the significant advantage that it's free.
