Yes it looks very nicely presented, though it's bit of a gaming niche compared to WWII.

The miniatures look nice. I wonder what rule sets you could use to replace the FOW rules?

Yeah, I've got that issue of WI. The models look good, the infantry are pretty so-so, and the attempt to hammer WW1 into a FOW-shaped mould isn't particularly successful -- as usual, they seem to set the game revolving around tanks. They've made some attempt to wrap it in a WW1-coloured blanket, but it's not a rule system that is well suited to reflecting the feel of that era.

So true.. it's 40K with WW1 models. I"m sure it's a fun game for those who like that sort of thing - NO criticism intended there .. we play what we like because we like it, as we should. It's just not a game that reflects much about the WW1 battlefield.
