Ostfront is a made-in-New Zealand WW2 game, the result of 5 years of research and playtesting.

Ostfront is aimed at battalion to company level - Infantry operate in stands similair to Crossfire or Flames of War. The focus is on simplicity, historical accuracy, balance and fun. Cheap 1/72 or 10mm miniatures can be used, as well as smaller (or larger) scales. 6 extensive army lists are available - US, Wehrmacht, Soviet, British, Italian and Japanese. A map campaign system is also built into the rules for that combination of map strategy and tabletop tactics, as up to 5 players go head-to-head over a map of Europe and north Africa

Available online as printed books or in PDF format, we also have a quick-fire version for free download, so you can try it out and see what you think.

Quick-Fire rules - with 4 basic army lists included:

Main Rules - the full rule set with campaign system built in.

We'll be playing some demo games down at OMTS in Dunedin. Might see you down there!
