There's a company called Pegasus who produce some absolutely fantastic plastic 1/72 figures -- I haven't been able to track down an online presence for them yet, but you can see some examples here:

http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.asp?manu=PEG&code=7201
http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Review.asp?manu=PEG&code=7202

I haven't yet checked through the rest of the site to see what they do besides Germans.

I especially like the "Germans in Berlin 1945" set; just the thing for playing a "Downfall" scenario :)

Hi Peter, yeh they are pretty good arent they? Quite afew seem more suited for dioramas, but there are quite afew which would be great for gaming. If anything, im quite interested in the Berlin figures aswell, (as last year I did a very rough VolksGrenadier army) some very different poses, pretty good :D
Does acorn or anything in Chch sell them?

Cheers

Jordan

I haven't seen them, but I have to confess I haven't really looked hard -- I only just found them on the net, so if I'd seen them in the shops before, my eyes would probably just have skipped straight over the unfamiliar name.

Talk to Stan, of Canterbury Miniatures.. he can access most sets, at a much more reasonable price too.

Cheers
