They should be fully compatible with Fireforge's 28mm range. Don't know which end of the range those are.

I think the miniatures will be more on the "true scale" end.

Here is finally a scale comparison:

So, from left to right:
Perry's Sudanese, Gripping Beast Dark Age Warrior, Frostgrave Soldier, GW Lord of the Rings, Frostgrave Soldier, Fireforge plastic, Frostgrave metal thief.

Looks like they will be smaller than GW's normal size and fit well with LotR. Fine for me :D

Constructs:

Quote:
Constructs are artificially created objects that have been imbued with a magical semblance of life. Most commonly they are made in the shape of humans and in such cases are generally called golems. That said, constructs can be of any form. In the glory days of the city, creating a living construct out of ordinary household furniture was quite popular.

Golems and other constructs can theoretically be created out of any material. Wood, metal, and clay are the most common as they are the easiest to work with, but constructs made of stone, bone, plants, and even paper are all possible. For game purposes, the actual material used is irrelevant.

The flatrate-shipping offer for pre-orders ends today! At the moment it's £9 to NZ, tomorrow they will charge actual shipping costs.

Otherwise contact me if you want some of the pre-order stuff, I can still add to my order.

Also, last chance to have me order something for you if you are just after some miniatures.

I got my stuff a couple of days ago. Rules are easy but not simple, if that makes any sense :)

Here are some pictures of some of the soldiers I've built:

Of course they need some cleaning before I can paint them.

They look excellent.

How does the game play in comparison to Mordheim. Is it one-off games, or campaign based with an RPG element for characters to develop?

It is supposed to be played as a campaign, but it is more objective driven and less "warband vs. warband" than Mordheim.
