Another 6mm scifi system running a kickstarter...
Designed for use with all 6mm sci-fi apparently, and done in partnership with six 6mm sci-fi companies.

(old link deleted see below for new one)

I looked at that one and I hoped it would be what Future War Commander wanted to be, but it doesn't seem that way... :(

The mix of styles and manufacturers in their starter puts me off. I hoped that they would have army lists for all those ranges and not just mixing it all together.

Well, I grabbed a digital rulebook early bird, but so far I am not too impressed. Will have a closer look at the rules sometimes soon.

Oh, and freaking 80K funding goal - sorry, but this project won't fly anyway.

I read a post or two about the rules and it sounded a bit clunky to me. (Does it use lots of polyhedral dice?) Haven't actually looked at them myself though.

The mix of manufacturers is a bit weird but I think it is to encourage people to check out these ranges and pick what they want. I've got a Dark Realm Andrayada huge army coming, that I will use for whatever systems are being played. (The Vorace walkers in Polyversal starter are from them).
It is also a safety feature, in that if one miniatures company folds, the whole system doesn't collapse, they just sub another one in. Much easier to keep a rule system alive than all the production for minis.

The initial kickstarter failed. I see they have re-organised, taken on the feedback and restarted with a much better more coherent looking range of factions.
50% of funding goal reached in the first day so that's a good sign for them.
