Hey, great tournament Tim. From my end, that was about the best run I have ever had with my Dark Eldar. The codex for DE is widely derided but coming 4th= on Battle Points is far from a shabby return, aye? (Just have to work a little(LOT MORE) on painting...:-) One day I'd like to have a hobby session with the masters like Andy and Shane.

Feedback- I love that Maelstrom mission points were made primary mission points. I feel that the points scoring was very reasonable: 4 points for primary, 3 for secondary then tertiaries. It meant that even in my last game against Sam W, I still had a chance to win. Even though his maelstrom points had become something completely ridiculous, they capped at 4 so I could concede that particular element of the game and focus on the other bits.

The timing for the games was nice and tight. 5 games is actually possible and most games I played made it up to turn 4 or 5. I was really appreciative of the fact you extended lunch by 15 minutes. Thom and I were kind of scoffing down chow and rolling dice between mouthfuls. Full games should reach a full and thorough conclusion with another 20 minutes tacked on if you dropped the tournament to 4 games.

A 1 day tournament could be the way ahead. Wifey doesn't mind me being away for a day, but a whole weekend can get her miffed. Nothing that a spoonful of ginger can't fix. I think that the amazing turnout is due to time of the year (no public holidays), Facebook (cheers Kyle, again) and the ODI cricket format (thanks Kerry Packer).

I thought the tables looked great with lots of different terrain. The skyscraper on table 8 or 9 was epic!
