So this is the list that i am planning on taking to tempest. It has a bunch of shiny new toys that will be getting their debut.

Company Command Squad with 2 meltaguns and 2 flamers (80pts)
Chimera Transport with heavy flamer and multilaser (55pts)

Veteran Squad with 3 meltaguns (100pts)
Chimera Transport with heavy flamer and multilaser (55pts)

Veteran Squad with Lascannon, 2 plasma guns and flamer (125pts)
Chimera with heavy flamer and multilaser (55pts)

Veteran Squad with 3 meltaguns (100pts)
Chimera with heavy flamer and multilaser (55pts)

Vendetta Gunship with heavy bolter (140pts)

Hydra (75pts)

Manticore (160pts)

I might juggle some weapons around but the core stays the same

1 HQ
0 Elites
3 Elites
1 Fast Attack
2 Heavy Support

Its quite a tough list but i purposefully left out some of the nastier stuff:

No psyker battle squads to lower leadership and add templates
No armour higher than 12
No ap3 or higher templates
No advisors for reserve manipulation
No Inquisitor with mystics for psyker and deepstrike protection
No Special Characters like Marbo or Straken
No Stubborn, Fearless or rerolls on leadership

On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being useless and 1 being absolute WAAC cheesefest i think this fits in as a solid 2.

So what will others be bringing?

Quite a cool looking necron list, destroyers of all flavours are awesome.

The change from 25%phase out to 10% means that the 2 squads of warriors is not such a liability although i feel you will still need to be careful of CC squads getting into them and wiping them out.

Perhaps switch up the destroyers to 3 squads of 2 or similar? still taking same number of casualties to force a morale check and gives you an extra potential target per turn.

The extra points might be able to make ur lord have a destroyer body or warscythe/res orb or something. I am not too familiar with what veil does but it seems uncommon so is perhaps not that strong.

Just my thoughts, i have not had much experience with necrons either using them or against them

Thanks it is a cut down list of what I usually run so I shouldnt be too out of my zone with it.

Minimum squad size is 3 for the regular Destroyers, I always find three to four to be just right anyway.

It functions in a similar manner to "The Gateway" power Space Marine Librarians have, by letting me move a squad by deepstriking it in the movement phase.
