So seeing as it is only 1000 points and Tau only have 2 troop choices and 2 elites , could we limit everyone to 2 elites and 2 troops ?

And since daemons only have 2 heavy support choices we should limit everyone else at 2 HS?
Since Chaos Marines only have 2 Fast attack choices we should limit everyone else to 2 FA? :roll:

Rather than limit everyone else, you could just include tau in with necrons making them able to double their basic troop choice. But I dunno, I didn't think many armies have more than 2-4 troop choices except chaos (yay we're good at something!)

2/3 of armies have 1-2 troop choices, 1/2 of them have use special characters to fix that.

I am still afloat in the South China Sea building oil pipelines but will make a point of coming up to Christchurch for this.
The most frustrating thing is I have a DA army finished but
I have a partially finished BA jump pack army I want to play and I will try to get ready in time. Or I could just take Dante and his guys at least they are finished, then there is always Mephiston
I will try to get something up to Christchurch thats for sure.

These are my current missions for those who haven't seen them before.

3 missions will be chosen from missions 1-5. The 4th mission will be brand new created in the style of missions B1-B3, most likely with ideas taken from them.

The actual missions will be released on the day and might differ slightly from those shown.

I'm really glad that didn't happen at nationals. My jetbike council were having a hard enough time standing up as it was.

Okay please forgive the question, just want to clear something up, we still need to take 1 HQ and 2 different troops choices from our codex then once of each section untill 1000 pts are used up after that ? yes

Its normal force selection yes, so 1 HQ 2 Troops.

However, the twist is you are not allowed to have duplicates of any choice; eg only one squad of tactical space marines as troops, and if you select a rhino then you can't have any more rhinos. One of anything, thats it. But you don't have to take anything more than the 1 HQ 2 Troops.
