New WOTR supplement coming in May. Seems like a pretty random release, about legendary formations. There are supposed to be alot of new models coming with it. If you look in the WOTR rulebook, almost all the unreleased models are heroes and their legendary formations.

All we need now is a FAQ

I won't need a FAQ until i've actually painted my army and started playing

Someone on the One Ring forums asked Alessio 2 months ago, who said that they had already finished the FAQ for the rulebook and that they were going to be putting it online soon.

Good news for all the War of the rings players:
I talked yesterday with Alesio Cavatore and he told me that Games Workshop had finished a FAQ for War of the ring and that i will be soon on their website.

Says it all really. Probably better just talking to the guys you are likely to play, so you are all on the same page, rather than waiting for that FAQ.... unless you have a lot of painting to get done.

Not long to go now.

'Reinholt' has a fairly detailed set of information on this Warseer thread

There's some interesting info in that thread.
Hopefully it hardens up some of the weaker options in the armies. I wouldn't mind starting a Hobbit army.

I picked up a copy on Sat and really like it, after initially being a bit 'ho hum' about it. Some good options in there and apart from some obviously outstanding options (please, may the Gorgoroth Orcs be FAQ'd to not allow Nazgul to join!) aren't clealry better for their cost.

Someone hide all copies of the book locally from Martin, it has his army with bonuses... if he can ever bring himself to spend points on other than basic guys
