Although I wouldn't have time to run it myself, I am looking at getting back into WoR and its nice to have an incentive to play, so I was wondering if anyone else would be keen on running something at club, preferably after Tempest.

Hi AJ,

I'd happily administer the thing - not that time-consuming, once there is a format that works.

However, given every WOTR play I know plays multiple game systems (myself included!), I am not sure if there will be the demand for something that goes on over multiple weeks.

FWIW, I am likely to offer WOTR for Tempest, which might suit people as it is a non high-stakes, for fun, one day event.

Cheers

Maybe the WoTR at Tempest could be a campaign-style thing, similar to Pete Dunn's Warhammer campaign at Call to Arms?

Hi Wallacer, how did that work - CTA is a two-dayer, right?

We could dial down the force size and get four games into a day, if people liked that idea.

Cheers

2 Day event.
Basically there are 3 "teams" of 4 people (Orcs, Skaven and Dwarfs). They play a series of linked campaign games and each team combines their points to see how well they're doing and how the story unfolds, as I understand it (it's being held this August, so I can't really tell you much more than that).

I guess for WoTR you could have evil and good teams; or a Saruman team, A Mordor team, a Gondor team and a Rohan team?

I'm in the same boat, but I figure if we get enough interest, it might be enough to get some other fringe players trying it again and alos get new blood into playing it. At this satge I'm playing in WM/H anyways, but cheers :)
