Looks cool mate. With GWs new releases I often find myself thinking 'how could I scratch built,convert/replicate that'? Obviously on the cheap to meet my budget of next to nothing. Occasionally I have a go but mostly it falls by the way side. I love that fact that you get stuck in. Keep it up mate, its very inspiring.

Cheers for that :D

More WIP for the Wrathmongers

Been playing with my box of Stormfiends and other bits to see how many of these fine fellows I can assemble

Plus an odd two warpfire armed beastie I had assembled as an Abomination for the White Dwarf Hellpit list, prior to the Abom going into the main list

Long time since posting on this but I have continued a muck around with models a lot even if I have done bugger-all gaming.

One silly little project I have amused myself with is making use of all the extra cool bits I had left over from my box of Blight Kings. So I present my first attempt to kitbash/sculpt a Blight King.

Image

I have used the lower legs of a Zvevda Orc (which are usefully split into two halves) and built a frame using "glue and sprue", added bits from the Blight Kings and GW kits, and then greenstuffed in the gaps.

Image

Size-wise it has scaled up well to a "real one"

I'd harass you for that but it took me over a year to spot them myself.

Two more "Blight Kings" completed - these are a bit rougher; relying on my doubtful sculpting ability rather than the parts!!

My final homemade "Blight King" (I promise), plus a "Blight Beast" I made a while ago to turn my initial box of five BKs into six
