Lets face it, we all either own or have owned at least one space marine.

Some of us like me just keep buying them for really cheap and build up a good supply of poorly painted, poorly converted and just generally broken and abused second hand marines.

From this supply I've made both my Salamanders army and my Relictors army so I thought I would post a tutorial about how to make an army from the rubbish other people throw out.

Tutorial 1: Making a Sallies Assault Squad.

First, find yourself 10 marines of varying quality and condition

Second, make yourself some Salamandery looking combat weapons

Third, rebase and clean the models and then add the combat weapons

Fourth, undercoat the models before painting

Fifth would be to paint the models but I've not finished them yet so I'll update later. In the mean time, fish out some old marines and start making an army.
