I spoke to the new owners of Comics Compulsion at the club AGM yesterday. They are keen to continue supporting Conquest and are looking at holding it at Woolston this year. This means more space, with food and drink available on site.

I volunteered to continue running the Ancients and they are happy with that.
So
200 points over two hours?
200 points over two and a half ours?
250 points over two and a half hours?

Brian and I are playing 250pts next weekend to see how it works out.

regards
Brent

I vote 200pt at 2hours again. If some games are close to a result with 15mins more play time then we could always extend?

250pt is one you probably wont see again, I recommend trying 300pt (4 Generals) as per the rule book, it plays really well.

I vote for 200pts over 2 hours.

Fast games means more games means more opponents which is good

I also vote for 200 points, as does Kerry. Good fast games, 6 hours of actual gaming in a day. Its got to be good.

I spoke to the owners of Comics Compulsion today and confirmed there would be an ADLG competition at Conquest. I arranged for between 6 and 8 tables depending on how many players we have. I believe it will be held the weekend after Labour Weekend and I'll confirm the date as soon as i know.

Comics Compulsions' Facebook page has the dates for Conquest as November 11th and 12th. At Woolston Club.
So:
200 points ADLG
Any army from the lists.
Tentative cutoff date for enrollments is October 25th. So we can make sure of tables.
I'll post runners and riders immediately after the cutoff date.
Army lists in by October 31st for checking. I'll get Andre to check mine.
First round will be drawn so that members of the same club play someone from another club.
It has become a tradition at Conquest that you may challenge another player for the first round game. You can challenge anyone after the R&R is posted. Challenges don't have to be accepted.

regards
Brent

Conquest enrollment is $40 or free if you spend lots at Comics ($150 I think).

Kirsty says the cutoff date for enrollments is Oct 31st. So we'll go with that.
Please get your army lists in by Nov 5th to me at bburnettjones@gmail.com Mark them Conquest list so they don't get lost.

Kirsty has just put the enrollment details up on the Comics Compulsion facebook page:

Registration will be accepted from the 15th of September onwards until the 31st of October. So you have a little over a month to register!
Cost will be $40 for a weekends worth of gaming and if you spend $150 in store your ticket is free! This will be done when you register.

If you're an out-of-towner you can sign up to Conquest by emailing
comicscompulsion@outlook.com

Let us know your details of what system you'll be playing along with a contact number and we will register you.
Entry can be paid via Internet banking to the following
K&L Hobbies
ANZ
01-0811-0770500-00
Reference: your name and system
