The “Cheeseball” Rule

There will be an extra bit of gamesmanship involved in brute force this time around. We have done away with soft scores entirely and replaced them with something we call the “cheeseball election” (think survivor tribal council minus the crappy T.V show.)

Here's how it works;
All players and referees will be asked to vote in the cheeseball election. Voting is compulsory but you can vote for “no-one.” The vote will take place after the final tournament round but before scores are tallied. You will only be allowed to vote for players that have been nominated for the cheeseball.

The player with the most votes will be elected the cheeseball. (a tie will be decided by the referees.) They will have all tournament points stripped and therefore place dead last, they also receives a special booby prize and trophy. (N.B the booby prize is not supplied by games workshop.)

So how can a player be nominated?
1. Submitting a cheesy army – this is at the discretion of the tournament Army Judge. You will be offered the chance to change your list before it incurs a nomination.
2. General poorsportsandbeingajerkmanship. - this is at the discretion of the tournament referees and they will be especially brutal towards rules lawyers.
3. Arguing with a referee – instant nomination, zero tolerance.
Under these criteria it is possible to receive multiple nominations. If this occurs any additional nominations will count as votes for you in the election.

Also, all players who receive cheeseball nominations for their army lists will be seeded together in the first round, so cheese will face cheese.
We are all 100% confident that no one will be nominated for the cheeseball and therefore the election will not take place, (in which case we will release the booby prize back into the wild.)

Good luck!

Well, we don't have to release it straight away. If you want to make a booking we would be happy to pimp for you.

Gonna see how conquest and the new marine 'dex pan out first.

Yep I did, I was quite amused and trying to decide if I wanted the 'accolade' of wining that particular award. Seems Failbird is cheesy, if only people knew his abilities as well as I do.
