DETAILS

This event is a 1600 point tournament played over six rounds on two days, utilizing the Warhammer Fantasy Battle 8th edition rules. The tournament will follow the format outlined in this player pack. Some eventualities may not be covered, so if you have any further questions please refer them to the Tournament Organizer

1. 1600pt Armies (open lists)List sent to Warpmaster_4@hotmail.com

2. Armies to be chosen solely from the current army books.

3. Chaos Dwarf list can be used (Not the indy list)

4. Armies do NOT have to be painted to enter, but do need to be based and put together. Also movement trays will be needed for large units.

5. Proxies are not allowed. This is another thing i will be strict on. If you are not sure, then it is best to check it with me beforehand to avoid problems later.

6. No Special Characters are allowed. This includes the “named” characters and champions published in the 8th edition army books. Special Character models may be used to represent 'normal' characters.

7. Weapons, armor options, and upgrades chosen from the army list must be shown on the majority of the models in a unit. This is important, please take note of this. If you have models with great weapons, the majority must be armed that way, same thing goes with shields and missile weapons. If you have any doubts please ask me.

8. Scenario Games will be used

9. 6 Games played over two days

10. 2 hours per game

11. Following items are banned for Carnage. Book of Hoeth, Power Scrolls.

12. 1.Registrations to be paid to Damon Quaid at the Christchurch Wargaming Club(CWC)

Favor of the Gods?????
1. A Favor of the gods will be granted to any player that gets their army list and Registration in before the 15th of November only.
2. A Favor of the gods can be used once during Carnage
3. A Favor of the gods can be used to Re-roll a single D6 “to hit roll” or to “wound roll” or an “Armour save”(not ward saves)
4. In order to use the Favor of the gods you will need to get your friendly TO (Aka, God) to come to your table and get him to cast his god like dice on your behalf.

Please also note that a PDF Player pack will soon follow with scoring and scenario details in it.Or if you can't wait you can PM me your email address and i'll send you the player pack

All regestrations can be made at CWC ,just as for Damon.

All list should be sent to me at Warpmaster_4@hotmail.com with Carnage army list in the title.Or you can hand me a list in person at the CWC.
I must stress that this event is aimed at beginners and I reserve the right to Veto any list i deem over the top,so bring a fun list rather than a hard core tournament list.

On first look it looks really good.
A few problems i see are with blood and glory and the watchtower.
It looks way too easy to get a 20 out of either of these games. You might want to look at the point spreads. If your already giving them 15 for holding the watchtower needing only 700vps to get a 20-0 is going to be a breeze.
Just my thoughts.

Does army builder give accurate readouts for core special hero %s? There might be a few funny things like how it counts detachments on greatswords as core. (And I dont know how it treats things like flagellants that shift slots depending on army selection.) Just thought Id let you know ahead of time so you can have a look. (maybe its been updated for 8th already i dunno)

Is this limited to rolls you are making or can you have, say, a successful wound roll made by your opponent re-rolled? I'm assuming not, but thought I'd make sure

You are assuming correctly, the re roll is limited to your own army
