You guys all probably know there is a model display weekend being held in the Greymouth Army hall this Saturday and Sunday.

We have arranged to set up 4 tables. 2 of them will be for display and the other two will be for gaming.

Everyone is encouraged to come down and get involved. If you want to play a game that would be great. I'm going to be there all day Saturday with a 1500 point 40k army if anyone wants a match. We will also have a blood bowl pitch set up, if you want a crack at that.

The times are 10am to 5pm on Sat and 10am till 3pm on Sun.

If you want to help with the setup I'll be there from 4.45 till 6ish on Friday and again at 9am on Sat. Any help would be appreciated.

We're getting involved with this to help raise money for the local ATC cadets and also to promote the club. Should be good fun.

I'd also like to say thanks to Nathan Wright who has generously donated some of his models for our display. Thanks bud :D

I'm happy to play any size battle. From 500 pts to 2500. I'll have plenty of models there anyways.

So bring whatever and we'll work it out.

Don't feel obligated to come on Friday. Josh is giving me a hand but the more the merrier.

Can someone lend their copy of Codex Space Marines for the display?

I'm going to display some of mine but It wouldn't be right to have codex's and not the SM one.

I'll turn up for a good laugh, have a look round, play a couple of games and all that.

Besides, I think we need to have a grudge match Jarred, my good sir :P

There should be some Blood Angels to cut your teeth on in the morning PJ.

I should have time to crush your dirty Orks in the afternoon, if you like

Thanks to everyone who got involved on the weekend. It was great so many of you could make it, even those who just popped in for a look around.

The biggest thanks go to those who helped with the setup/tidy-up, donated models to the display and those who played in demo games.

I think the weekend was a success, both for the ATC cadets and for promoting the club.

Thanks again to Nathan for his minis, we managed to raise $20 bucks for the ATC by selling them off. (sorry bud the barbecue was done before I got there, so no weka picks)

Will post photos soon. Did anyone else take pictures?
