This year the club will be running a round robin for anyone who wants to play larger games.

Lets see who's best in 2010.

You will be able to select up to 2010 points from any current codex, including named and special characters. You can also vary your list from game to game. In addition you will be able to select 1 superheavy vehicle, flyer or gargantuan creature up to a max of 600 points.

Entries will be open until the end of the month.

Rules for the round robin are simple. Every player fights every other player once. You can play standard missions or planetstrike (both players must agree to planetstrike)

You will score 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. Most points at the end wins.

Players have until the end of the year to complete the round robin, if they fail to do so they will be removed. Any points scored against them will be deducted from the other players score.

You will be able to play games outside of regular club nights if you wish.

If you play at the club then these games can also count as leader board matches where applicable.

The winner will get something extra special. (unless it's PJ)

So who's got the guts?

how much does a thunder hawk gunship cost, point wise? Don't mention the actual price of a forgeworld model.

Otherwise I think ill stick this one out, as I really need to concentrate on painting a sizeable force or combat patrol.

If you can get your hands on a thunderhawk Phil (and I mean a real one or a very close approximation) I'll bend the rules and let you play it.

They are 900 points.

Combat Patrol Missions

http://www.adepticon.org

These will be a basis for the campaign - so don't take these rules as gospel yet.......

900 points! Lol I don't think I can track one down in a hurry, or have the resources to scratch build one. So i'm still out.

And pj youve still got a week to build that battlewagon or im taking it back, dont even talk about a stompa till its done.

Every template weapon fired automatically hits every non-based model? :P

Blu-tac 'em to a base if you must - how do you get 'em to stand up?

Matt (tongue firmly in cheek)

On Wednesday I defeated John and that incredible wagon of his.

If Dene isn't in the competition any more, that means I've played everyone :D
We need more Challengers!
