Tim and myself are having a 30 Soulstone game on Saturday at the Hutt club.

So how did the game go? Did Rasputina get her revenge?

Had 3 games on Saturday. Won the first against Tim, the second against Simon using Tims crew and we drew the 3rd game with 5VP each.

Tim had tweaked his crew and it was a lot tougher with more speed than before. Lady J still smashed faces when she got into company but I lost a lot of figures to the 3 headed cat of death.

Lady J had a game against the Neverborn and was lucky to survive. It came down to who won the initiative flip.

Neverborn 1 lady J 0

Ha!!
First loss for Lady J for a while. Good play by Mr Manning.
She is a monster though having killed a mature nephilim and Lilith during the game. Despite my poor game play she nearly rescued an unlikely draw .

Been going good so far. Tim and Myself have played at two club meetings both with lots of people having a chat and being positive. So far Tim has got himself 2 more crews. Alex has picked up the Ramos starter and the Viktoria starter, Tom has the Seamus box and Simon is very tempted with some of the new crews just released.

Other than those easily bribed into new games we have 2nd Chris from Wales who showed at the club recently who plays. Also the overpriced starters and the overpriced rulebooks have sold well at the local store so looks like we have reached a good amount of people.

Some of these local stores need to be careful they don't price themselves out of the market. I don't mind spending a wee bit extra to support my LGS but with the strong NZ$ at present...
Good to hear of the interest in Wellington. Look forward to a trip north in 2011 for Welllington's first malifaux tournament.
