Ok, it's been confirmed that we have access to the venue on the Friday night.

21 tables need to be set up (in 3 sets of 7) , covered in (themed) terrain, and arrange for a place to keep track of the planet's tiles where everyone attached to a world can see them. The boys from invercargill have offered to help out w/ set up, as have Jason, Thom, Tim and Nathan. More is merrier though, so once i confirm the exact time later this evening, i'll post it here and anyone who can spare some time to pop by and help, is more than welcome.

The plan for both mornings is to brief/welcome everyone around 8:30am, and then start the world's at ~15 min intervals, meaning all games should be underway by 9am. the plan is to keep that staggering up throughout the day to minimize confusion and game time lost to admin.

Hi Wes,

My team mates have run into a catastrophe with models and shipping has not come through. Andrei is swapping a Hellhound for a vendetta, and Campbell is running crazy trying to find the models he needs. He will hopefully be in touch with you but for now thats the deal. Sorry about this :(

No worries, Nathan.

Shane, (it is shane, right?) i'm happy to have you swap as necessary. Just submit lists with models you can acquire quickly. it's not an event where winning in the big goal anyway, so hopefully your mates can sort some models and/or write new lists. keep me in the loop.

Must say I'm very much looking forward to this event, if it's anything like last year it's gonna be a heap of fun (and besides, my Zerg/Slartrybardfastians/Tyranids have been sitting on the shelf for a while, and are veeeeery huuuungry......

I'm trying to figure out who has the best team name, as there is a few good ones this year. SO far I think it's hard to beat T.E.S.T.I.C.L.E.S. (so to speak) or Draigo's Drug Cartel.......

Wes if you need more help with setting up and so on, message me on FB and i"ll dart over and help.

Glad to hear you're so keen Chris. it should be pretty good, if only because everyone i talk to really wants to be there. that always helps.

We're setting up around 5~5:30pm, and you're more than welcome to pop in if you're bored. We're really hoping to be in and out in about an hour; lots of hands make light work, etc.

Hey Wes

I just got word my team mate has bailed like 5 minutes ago! Not great timing at all I am really sorry.

If you have anyone still looking for a team (Woolston had some people interested didn't they?) That would be great.

Otherwise where do we go from here.

I am really sorry for the late notice but as I said I only found out myself.

Adam
