I think we might have something disturbingly close to commitment from up here Ian. Chris, Ben and I look like we'll be coming down and I think Sass is also coming down.

My god, this is astounding...I need sit down...

I need details guys, just for planning purposes.
Choose between Imperial Bond, Grand Coalition or Neutrals/Mercs
(see post Thursday 18th for details)
I need players to let me know if they can play Land Fleets, Air Fleets
Naval Fleets and if they want to play Legions games as well.

Thanks Fellaz

Hey there guys
Just some details regarding the up-coming campaign.
To confirm – there are three types of fleets available and you can choose as many or as few as you wish, Land Fleets, Naval Fleets and Air Fleets, as well as Legions as an option.

Fleet Lists are comprised of two groups:
The first group is 700 points of Core squadrons only – Naval, Land or Air squadrons from your nation’s army list. Minimum 1 Massive/Large – 1 Medium Squadron – 1 Small Squadron (Maximum is 2 Massive or Large – incl Battle Cruisers in this if designing a naval fleet)
The Second group is 400 points of extra stuff – Allies, more Core, Mercenaries, Merchant Vessels, Non-core i.e Air stuff in a Naval Fleet…anything you like really…the only exceptions are - No Large/Massive vessels in this force and No Fortifications.

Legions games will be using starter sets from the four main protagonists only…we may need to tweak the Prussian force a little in the name of fairness, those boys are bad.

I will not be checking lists, I just don’t have time and as this is just a fun get together I don’t see a great need. As we have a number of new or in-experienced players I would ask that the lists be slightly under powered please, just so that we can all enjoy our weekend.

I'm Empire - So I think that makes me Imperial Bond. I can only really do Naval and Legions. I could maybe scrape through for small games of Air with 3 bombers, 3 gyros, 2 war gyros and a flying lilo.

Aww come onnnn, they're not thaaaat bad *cough teutonic knights cough*[/quote]
Sounds good to me.

I have additional stuff which I could replace them with.
I have 2 units of troops (the ones from the box), medics, seargeants, 1x machine gun, 2x tankettes, 1 ironclad (out for obvious reasons)

I don't see your name in there Ian, but if Nathan took legions and you joined in we could do a 3vs3 which could help for people who are newer to the rules? It could also take a while, maybe. Not sure. Just an idea anyway.

Excellent gentlemen, great work.

At this stage we have something like 15 players...give or take.
I need confirmation from Ben in CH-CH
callumn in Dunners
and Bill from the OMTS.

I also need to know whether Dave is playing as Imperial Fools or Neutral Fence Sitters.

The time for you all to be arriving at the Dystopian Wars event this weekend is 9:30 am.
I would love to have a few hands available for setting things up if possible please guys.
Can I get in a few minutes earlier than this Joel? Things to do you know.
All gamers need to bring Pen and Paper - this is fairly important as I will be giving most instructions verbally.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday
Ian.
