hello,
Looking at Carnage this year on June 28th at the Woolston Club. Just waiting to confirm room booking.
Will Be 8th Edition.
But with all the End of Times 'Stuff", what sort of army build guide lines would people be looking at?
Responses by those who will actually be attending will be given most weight.

The Players
All the players that attend are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need dice, measuring tape, clear army lists and their armies! In general contributing to a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy both their games and the time spent in between rounds with their peers.
The underlying drive is to provide the gaming community with an opportunity to participate in a WFB tournament.

General Restrictions
MAGIC DICE
Power dice usage is limited to 12 in any one magic phase
Apart from Winds of Magic dice an army may only add 2 Power Dice or Dispel Dice to its magic dice pool in each magic phase excluding channelling.
Any dice added to the pool, regardless of source (generated, stolen, stored from previous magic phases, generated by magic items/abilities to boost spell casting before or after the casting attempt, produced by spells, lore abilities, and so on) count. Excess dice are simply discarded and cannot be used in any way.
Items that add “D3” power dice are allowed to exceed the dice limit and add the additional dice, should the result of the dice roll grant extra dice. As long as the limit had not been reached before rolling.
Night Goblin Mushroom D6 do not count as "power dice" as per their Army book.
Chaos Dwarfs’ Chalice may not be used mid-spell.
Shard of the Herdstone dice do not count to the +2PD

Battle Points Earned
Victory Points
Winner Loser
0 – 149 10 10
150 – 299 11 9
300 – 499 12 8

Blood & Glory and scenarios will be used. The achievement of the scenario objective will be worth 300 VPs. Victory points will be determined as normal on top of this, however the scenario winner will score at least 11 points. The loser’s score is capped at 9 points
Blood & Glory will continue for six turns.
Sportsmanship (24%):
After every game each player will enter a score (6/3/0) for their opponent’s sportsmanship throughout the game. A player's tournament points for sports are calculated by their opponent's responses to these questions.
The default score for any game will be a “5”.
[5] Your opponent gave you a decent amicable game or better. Your opponent was essentially in line with, or exceeded your expectations of another player’s behaviour. Rule queries were decided amicably.
[2] Your opponent’s behaviour clearly detracted from your ability to enjoy the game. They refused to resolve rules disputes amicably or displayed an unsavoury attitude throughout the game. Whether too much gloating when winning or too much bitterness when things didn’t go their way. PLEASE NOTE calling over a TO for a rules dispute is regarded as an amicable outcome and should not be punished.
[0] Your opponent more than occasionally displayed behaviour you would classify as border line cheating and was not what you expected to face at the tournament. Examples may include they employed a “rubber ruler”, applied differing rules interpretations to their sole advantage, stretched the rules when it suited etc. This score should be handed out only after careful consideration, and must be clarified with the TO.
Painting (16%):
Painting will be marked during the tournament based on a check list. If you are someone who prefers modelling and converting to painting, there will be some recognition of that, but it is not a necessity to get maximum points. Players will be rewarded for making an attempt at highlighting, shading and detailing.
Armies not painted by the player using them will still be marked appropriately for their painting component, but will be ineligible to be voted for in the Players Choice category.
Prizes
This will be dependent on tournament numbers, at the time of cut off.
