Note gaming is downstairs in Kellaway Bar tomorrow.
I take it you didn't let committee know of this event Brian/Andre or whoever thought it up??
To be fair I didn't think it would end up with eight players...

Zane is generously checking today to help us get right size tables, apparently plastic ones downstairs are 5x7 so should still be ok if we stick them together.

Brian I think you said we were supposed to get there earlier anyway to help setup? Did you say 9:30 or so?

It was indeed a great day of wargaming. Will wait for Brian to post the results. But I will say elite Elephants rock, especially when commanded by simpleminded lunatics who have no understanding of subtlety and manoeuvre.

Results from today's 8 Dino Matches are approximate as not all the result sheets were handed in.

9 points, Andre, Classical Indians, TGIF
8 points, Tim, Germans, TGIF
8 points, Brian, Late Imperial Romans, CWC
6 points, Mark, Seleucid, CWC
6 points ? Kerry, Palmyran ( no result sheet so unofficial ), TGIF
3 points, Brent, Mid Imperial Romans, CWC
3 points, Gordon, Gallic, TGIF
1 point ? Mike, HYW English ( no result sheet so unofficial ), CWC

Holders, Christchurch Wargaming Club 18 points
Challengers,Thank God it's Friday 26 points

TGIF capture Dino from CWC

Congratulations to Andre, 9 points of fun & games with Elephants and Heavy Chariots
Hard luck story of the Day, Me throwing a '1' on the last CP roll of the day meant that my Hun Light Horse could not capture Gordon's Camp and gain the extra point to equal Andre's Score as they were so far away from the General.
Best Presented Army, Mark's Seleucid army. Mind boggling gorgeous, a work of Art indeed !
Players enjoyed being able to use phrases containing the words 'Cheese' & 'It's only a Dice game'
Biggest piece of 'Cheese' was Kerry's positioning a supporting unit in a gap just wide enough to shoot arrows through and prevent my Legionary unit from charging into contact. Well done Kerry for keeping 'Cheese' alive in ADLG

How was that cheese Brian?
In WRG 6th, DBM, DBA and FOG it is also impossible to pass through a gap of less than 1 elements width I believe. Perhaps you can supply page references to prove me wrong.
